Sounds like a bargain to me - that's what refitting our bathroom and en-suite cost 15 years ago.

There's a lot of variables here: location,  size of bathroom etc. I'm presuming all materials are included.  Last year I paid £6300 labour & materials excluding bath suite, vanity units, glass shower screen, taps, tiles & vinyl flooring to have our small bathroom (8ft by 9ft approx) completely gutted and refitted (S London) walls fully tiled. The price included labour & materials , waste disposal , also having an airing cupboard built around the boiler out of water resistant MDF. It was just over 2 weeks work and I painted ceiling, cupboard etc.

I'd obtained 3 quotes from 'reputable' companies with plenty of believable positive reviews on Trust a trader etc (so expect there was a premium here). There was a dispute over the final bill ( the usual but the materials cost more) and I got itemised invoices from them for their materials and found they tried to overcharge and double charge VAT, which had already been charged by the materials supplier. This was corrected and I paid the correct price. My advice check everything.

It depends on the size of the room and how upmarket/expensive the fittings are. We had done almost exactly what you are planning 2.5  years ago in the South East. Can not remember the exact figure as we bought some of the fittings ( mid range) ourselves but the total overall was about £8K. The bathroom is approx 6 M2.
