There is no official "registration" for anything. The only registration I can think of would be with WASPE themselves where they take good money off of those that can least afford it to fund their 1st class travel lost cause. If any compensation is awarded, there will be no backdated pension, then it will be paid automatically by the government without you needing to register.

There's no Government form to complete. Are you thinking of the WASPE mob membership application form?
You won't find many WASPE supporters on these boards, but in view of your ill health I'll try to help as much as I can.
Briefly, so-called WASPE women were born between 6 April 1950 and 5 April 1960. If you fall within this very exact time scale, then there's nothing for you to do. The Government are still considering the report and recommendations, but nothing has been decided yet. Compo, if awarded, will be automatic so please don't waste any money on WASPE membership fees.5 -
You forgot the bottles of champers they like to swig to ease the trauma of their first class rail journeys. Bolly isn't cheap, you know!molerat said:There is no official "registration" for anything. Not trying to hijack but why would there not be supporters on this board who think that the change in ages for women to get SP was mishandled??Silvertabby said:There's no Government form to complete. Are you thinking of the WASPE mob membership application form?

I didn't say there weren't any - just not many. Based on previous threads on this subject.Brie said:

It is possible someone will help you. But I would judge that you already correctly identified from responses to date - that this may be the wrong place to look for much help in signing up.
@Sivertabby has been helpful. I also agree with that interpretation.
I am as they say - out. People who think it is mostly nonsense and will fail. Will also think helping you join in, or worse, subscribe is an act of harm not of help.

You're confusing two things. There is no doubt that DWP fell short on the communications aspect of the change in pension ages, or we wouldn't be subjected to all the WASPI/E nonsense now.Brie said:

However, only a small fraction of the women who fall into the age bracket impacted by the change are actually WASPi women, despite the media lumping everyone of that age into the description 'WASPI women'. The vast majority knew about the change in retirement age and aren't constantly banging the drum for money they wrongly believe they are 'owed'.
Compensation, if any is ever paid, will be a few thousand at most.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!5 -
There may be some but the majority of posters here don't fall for the BS pumped out by Waspi.Brie said:
