Siemens Dishwasher Leak

My Siemens Dishwasher stopped working and the controller wasn't showing any settings. I tipped the machine on it's side to empty the sump (as advised in a different thread on this forum) and it worked again. However, when running a cycle, with the side of the machine removed, I've noticed a leak from the point in the picture attached. Does anybody know what the item is in the picture and how to remove it. I suspect there is a seal between it and the machine which is allowing water out. Any help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Looks like a motor of some description. Appears to be retained by the plastic lug just above your arrow. I'm guessing one on the other side too. Just putting it out there, water and electricity can be dangerous so take care with whatever you decide to doSome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0
