linked address to my experian credit report that i don't recognised

Looking for some advice

I've applied for re-mortgage and been declined as they said it's something on my credit report. I then gone the Experian to see what's on the credit report and noticed that there's a linked address that I do not recognized nor I know anyone that lives at that address. I was a victim of identity fraud in 2019 which was all reported to the police. Also, informed the bank at the time that it wasn't me that that applied for the credit card. In 2019 I checked my credit report and there wasn't any linked addresses on my credit report so do not know when this was added on my report. 

Now, I have contacted Experian to dispute the connection to the linked address and they came back to say they went to the bank and they said they won't remove it as the information is accurate and they do not have permission to amend or remove it and all I can do it add a note of correction. 
They suggested to contact the bank which I have but again I do not have any details of this account and gave them the address that's on the credit report as it wasn't me that opened it. 

The stress and inconvenience cause it's unbelievable as I've been refused re-mortgage a couple of times with different lenders and had to pay a broker to apply for me and that's how I discover the credit report issue as my credit score is 999. I'm paying nearly 10% in interest on the current mortgage and can't change it because of this linked address. I gave complained to the bank waiting to hear from them this week.

Would appreciate if anyone can please help with any guidance/ advice.

Also raise a formal complaint with Experian, if they don't remove the link report them to the ICO.  They have a duty to report information correctly, "not us guv" isn't good enough, they should put their own effort into correcting it not push it back onto you.

Thank you. I've made a  formal complaint with Experian. Also, emailed the ICO with my complaint with Barclaycard as they are just useless. Never thought a big organisation such as Barclaycard can mess you about so much.
