CP Plus Parking MOTO services

I will need to bullet point this as it has really upset my Asperger's and damaged my function. I am messing this all up and badly need your help.

I work for the MoD and travel from the Midlands to a secure site in the south weekly.

Due to my recent back injury, I stopped at Moto Cherwell services at 09:00 on 29/4/24 and left again at 09:20ish on my return trip. I also stopped at Moto Cherwell services at 15:30ish on my return trip.

CP Plus has registered this as a 6hr 33min stay.

I received the invoice for the parking but misread the Date of Issue, 7/5/25, as the day of the visit because I also made the same trip that day.

I appealed with an email from my manager stating I had attended the site, but he was remote and did not meet me there.

May appeal:

"The charge is incorrect. I visited Cherwell Services around 09:00 AM and left shortly after purchasing an item from Marks and Spencer and WH Smith to continue my drive to Hook. I stopped again on the way up from Hook due to back pain and to get something to eat at around 15:33 before returning home to the West Midlands. Please provide me with the entrance and exit times for both visits. The information you have provided incorrectly shows only one visit not two individual visits. I am having the door access records recovered from the office to support this.”

 

Attached manager's email:

 

“As MY NAME’s manager, I can confirm had a planned trip from his home address to our business address in Hook, Hampshire on Tue 7th May 2024, for which he attended.

A corporate expense claim has been made and has been paid”

 

CP Plus replied:

17 May 2024 17:10

“Thank you for your correspondence relating to your Parking Charge.

In light of your claims, we have considered your representations and are prepared to reconsider the status of this Charge should we receive sufficient evidence of your claim, such as a copy of tachograph or vehicle movement tracker for the 29th April 2024. However, until such time as this evidence is received this Charge will continue to remain outstanding.

Please also forward to us the full name and address of the driver at the time this charge was incurred so that we can update our records accordingly.

We are placing this Charge on hold for 14 days from the date of this correspondence to allow time for the documentation requested to be received.”

 

My car does not have a tachograph or vehicle movement tracker. I am trying to get CCTV evidence from my secure location, but this is very difficult. I can obtain around 10 witness statements from high-clearance holding witnesses.

I felt silly, but I didn’t know what I should do.

Are you saying you stopped at separate Moto Cherwell services either side of the motorway, one side on the way out, then the opposite side on the way back?

Cherwell Services is off the Junction 10 roundabout so there is only 1 service station for both sides.

What happened when you complained to the manager at Cherwell Services?

I use Waze and am trying to log into my account to see if I can access my history and my iPhone's location. 

I emailed Ken McMeikan last night. He has forwarded this mail to his PA and the Parking Queries, and both have said they want to forward me back to GroupNexus / CP Plus.

Pushy, insistent that it was a double visit and tell MOTO how angry you are.
