Hi
I have done a search and from what I have read its going in through one ear and out the other - can anyone explain this to me in "numpty" terms.
My phoneline was broken just before christmas - they mended the line - I still couldn't get on the internet so went through virgin (ISP)who said my line wasn't sync-ing. So on christmas eve BT man rings to say he has been working on the line in the exchange and it should be working now. On my router all the lights are on apart from online light - when I go to try to connect to web I get this CHAP error message - my ADSL line is fine so where is my problem

Thanks in advance of any help given
Jane
