Jaguar Dealer sells me an imported vehicle without telling me

Hi All,
i bought a vehicle from a Jaguar dealer 2 years ago and now i am buying something else and looking to trade it in i have been told it is an import and also has a strange history at the beginning of its life. The dealer when i purchased said nothing about either issue and now i am left with a vehicle that no other dealer wants to take as a PX
Doesn't a respectable dealer have to mention things like this at purchase as if i knew this i would not have purchased at all?
thanks

A few more details will be needed ?
Presumably it's RHD and a standard UK model/spec ?
What history do you have (service book, old invoices etc) and what does the V5 say for date of first registration ?
Have you asked the Jaguar dealer you bought it from ?

What's the "strange history", and why wasn't it apparent when you bought it? Was it always there and you didn't pick up on it, or is it entirely new information previously unavailable to you?0

Yeah. What is the "strange history" and why is it putting other dealers off accepting it in PX?
Without knowing why it's so significant it's difficult to advise.0 -
Likely year of manufacture and registration date don't match. Possibly CI, ROI or BFG initial registration. When I had a personal export car DVLA originally gave it a new first registration date on return to UK but as it was originally registered in UK on the same plates they reset it to the original date which avoided any confusion.
