Ps I did my statutory declaration at a solicitors yesterday so I am assuming this court date is to hear it, I have no clue on what the process is.0

They most likely will then accept this and move on to asking you if you would like to plead guilty or not guilty.
You can buy time by pleading not guilty and a case will be scheduled for much later down the line (you can plead guilty at that later hearing then if you want) ask for all the discovery documents if you don’t have them to turned over to you in the mean time.
There are times where there is “no case to answer” or “ No contest”
I would in your case seriously look into with a solicitor or barrister about criminal procedures and the secretary states burden to adhere to criminal procedural rules on serving papers correctly.This is in no way legal advice, the core underlaying advice I’m giving is that you seek legal advice asap, buy pleading not guilty this will buy you that time.
