Old G-Clamp - any idea on history?

Hi all.
Clearing out t'garage, and came across an old Record, drop-forged, 121-12" G-Clamp, which I was about to put on Facebook.
Curious about the added stamps/engravings; it has 'Shirecliffe', 'Jubilee' and a 'crown' symbol (can be seen in main pic).
That suggests a Sheffield link, but I have no idea.
Also no idea what it's worth - is it a £enner, or are they 'different' somehow? A Google seems to come up with some seriously weird and crazy prices (see link below).

Thanks.

Record were formed in Sheffield and Shirecliffe is an area of the city.
A Crown often symbolises it was supplied for use by a Government department.3 -
If it was supplied to a government department the colour might help narrow it down.1

Somewhere I've got an ex-GPO hand drill, which is like the standard manufacturer's model with a couple of tweaks.AIUI Record make/made a heavy duty version of their g-clamps which were painted red rather than blue. But the addition of the crown suggests this one is more than just a heavy duty variant. If I were to guess, the paint colour and the shape of the crown might suggest this is a GPO tool as well.1

Looking at sold 121 clamps on ebay, the going rate seems to be £25 - 40, several red, no other crowns that I noticed.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.
