Failed delivery twice

Hi all
I ordered a garden bar from very over £800 they used another company to supply the item, we organised delivery for last Monday and as in there terms 2 people need to be pressant for delivery so both myself and my partner took a day off, they sent me a text to say it was coming between 8 and 12 then called a hour later to cancel. I re arranged for this Monday and they have just emailed to cancel my delivery again.
What can I do can I claim losses as this is the 2nd failed delivery.
Thanks

Hello OP
MSE has an article covering this:
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/delivery-rights/
The important bit to note is the obligation to mitigate losses, generally speaking I've not seen anything on here to say to what an extent one is expected to go, but these threads usually ask questions such as friends/family/neighbour to step in or such.
If you paid on credit with Very you could raise a complaint with the finance team via the official procedure and see what their take on it is.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
