Morning all
Another bright and beautiful day we could get used to this, OH has gone back to work today his back is scabbed over now and no longer contagious although the itching is driving him mad so I hope he gets on ok.
Just Rob coming today the other lady is poorly so we are meeting a couple of friends and going for a walk and picnic with tea and cake at the end 😃 the cake has to be at the end to keep certain people walking 😂
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and have a look in the freezer after this, I still don’t have much of an appetite yesterday I had an egg mayo sandwich while OH had a curry.
House is tidy but I have put a wash on this morning which can go on the line before work.
Gers I hope your cough gets better soon xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning all and thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons x
Back in the office today, one boss on leave for 2 weeks, then the other goes off for 2 weeks. I only have one meeting today, so will need to find other things to keep me busy.
DH and I didn't go shopping yesterday after all. We figured that we should make the most of the good weather and do some work in the garden. I cleared a load of Stokesia that had taken over a bed, weeded and then planted out some courgettes. I also potted up the tomatoes. Back and legs are really feeling it today despite having a nice bath afterwards. I will run home from work later to give them a stretch. Dinner tonight is SW chicken curry - looking forward to that.
Sorry to hear your cough is back @Gers - take it easy x
Hugs to @nannywindow - hope you're doing okay? x
Have a good day all
Coxy

Morning everyone
Another lovely sunny morning. We've had good weather over the weekend, once the early fog has lifted. Little one stayed on Friday night - I took her to her swimming lesson on Saturday. It was a bit of a disaster as she sat at the side of the pool until 3 minutes before the end of the lesson, when the teacher finally succeeded in getting her in. They've moved into the shallow end of the big pool - she's convinced she will drown - although she does agree that none of the other children the same height as her have drowned - 'but they might' is her reply! The teacher is lovely and is really trying with her, but she has 7 other children to teach - she's suggested some one to one lessons might help.
Afterwards we went to a small play park next to the sports centre, which cheered her up, then the bus home and we spent the afternoon outside until DD picked her up.
Yesterday we were down at my mam and dads, then home for lunch. Little one was so happy because I let her wash the dishes up afterwards, while I did my ironing - I got it all done while she slopped about. Then a couple of hours playing outside until she went home. I sat with my paper for a bit and then did some more tidying of the garden. Also had a nice chat with eldest DD in Corfu.
Right, best get my jobs done before I go to work. Hope everyone has a good day x11 -
Hello all, it's going to be a nice sunny day again. All the washing was done and line dried yesterday but it was nothing to do with me ! I'd be useless without Mr Fix It. I did manage to sit outside in the sun for a little while yesterday listening to the bird song and reading my book.
My hand is not so red today but it is still 2/3 times the size of normal 😲 and it's awkward to use it. I couldn't sleep last night, probably worrying about my oncology appointment today, I'll be glad to get it over with and then I know the next step.
I shall put the clean washing away today before I go early afternoon.
dp1 bless your DGD, it's horrible to be afraid. My DGD didn't need swimming lessons and sat on the side " because I'm a mermaid " 🤣
Take care all, hugs to any other poorly ones
nan xx

Afternoon! I got up and got stuck straight into gardening. I bought two new big clay pots yesterday so I put my two olive trees in them.I did want two the same but it wasn't to be and I couldn't pot on one olive without the other so the prettier one is the one most noticeable now. They'll be in ther for at least a couple of years barring accidents so one job jobbed. I feel a nap coming on nowGers, good job you noticed, I've done the same , but it's still not pleasant to fork out os much to sort it. Nanny, hope the itching has died down a bit. And now your hand too, commiserating hugs! Allie, good luck with the shop and selling your stuff there. Enjoy the day people...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8
