If anything did happen to me and I was the only deputy would my husband be able to get access? Or would that open up a completely new can of worms?
As I mentioned earlier there are two ( like with PoA) . One for welfare and health issues and one for finances.
The Court of Protection have discretion on whether to agree a deputyship or not. AIUI, normally the Welfare ones will not be approved in the case of adults with learning difficulties, unless there are special circumstances, although the finance one should be.1
