Does CEL Pay a Percentage of their PCN Receipts to the Landholders

Does anyone know what the contract between CEL and the landholder says about payments as a percentage of PCN receipts?
This would be in car parks like pubs and shops where there is no charge as long as you register your vehicle on a tablet.
I won my case last week but it would really have helped to know this.

Not usually.  The normal MO from CEL is to offer their anti-consumer 'high-tech ANPR  service' for free & clueless idiots fall for it.

    Glad you won though!

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Did you ever try & fail to appeal? If so, do yourself and fellow motorists a favour:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Thanks for that but I am fairly sure that some sort of payment was being made in my case, but CEL would not reveal their full contact.  The case was on the Mirror and Mail Online sites about 3 days ago, but I am not being allowed to post the link.

I managed to acquire the UKPC / Appointed Agent parking contract from the landowner during my recent case with UKPC/DCB Legal. The landowners were happy to provide it without restriction when it came to light that their appointed agent had been dishonest to residents about the parking charge cancellation clause. I'm sure UKPC will love one of their parking contracts showing up on the Internet (albeit from 2014)

There is no mention of payments, and based on the landowner having multiple contracts with multiple parking companies, they made a written statement that none of their contracts have payments to landowners in it.

Any one signing that with the 10 Percent clause should pay the parking  charge notice themselves
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"
  • @porridgestation An old contract but interesting that it only mentions authorising action against drivers and owners i.e. not vehicle keepers.

It's crazy. UKPC can run rampant in the cark park (residential) issuing spurious parking notices and the landowner/agent can only cancel 10% of them for residents. This contract is still in place in that specific car park.
