Incentive to get smart meter - electricity

Hi, I'm currently with E-On and considering getting a smart meter. However their £50 bill credit incentive has stopped.

I'm also considering changing provider, preferably to one with a low or no standing charge.

Is any other company offering an incentive to get a smart meter?
(Electricity only, I don't have gas).

Many thanks for any info. ..

You can get £50 if you join Octopus, using a referral code. The only suppliers that have zero S/C load up the first few kWh each day, so you're no better off. Agile Octopus can save you a lot of money, with just a smart meter, without solar or batteries.

    Thank you Netexporter.
I'm actually not worried about the additional load on the kWh as the property will be unoccupied from now until its sold and there's not so much as a smoke alarm running on it.
I am slowly removing the flat contents and getting it ready for going on the market, but I can only pop in maybe one day a fortnight to do this. (Fridge & kettle will go on just for that day).
I was wondering which providers do the standing charge free contract. ..

Without getting into yet another smart meter debate,OP,what advantage or disadvantage do you have to gain,or loose by having them,or not?.
Not wishing to parrot the Octopus are the only worthwhile supplier, however that does seem to be the general consensus, here at least.
I dont personally think there should be an "incentive" for fitting smart meters at this point in time, the disincentive being that not having them means no access to a plethora of tariffs which could be better suited to your needs, potentially cheaper, and with a bit of an adjustment or effort quite probably both.
For clarity I had smart meters fitted around a year ago by Eon Next and it's made not one bit of difference to me,I use roughly the same as previously,at the same times, for the same things and still check the meter every month as I used to do,no need but still it's 30 seconds of my time to check.

No advantage really, other than the £50, which would come in handy right now.
