Anyone else found that a Windows 11 update repeatedly asks for a reboot but fails to install ?
2024-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems.

I eventually installed it, manually, from the update catalogueit IS installed (according to Control Panel / programs / installed updates)but the prompt is still there on the taskbar - asking me to restart to install KB5037771 !I do this again - with no change - the prompt is STILL there

The usual reason for large updates silently failing to install is lack of sufficient spare storage space. Do you have enough? Can you clean up some temporary files?Other than that the MS forums etc as advised above are best place to go.0
