It won't, in principle they are all "fault" but normally glass is dealt with totally differentlyGreenLightRedLight said:It doesn't ask fault when saying windscreen/ glass (drop down box)
Shop around as a glass claim wouldn't normally have such an impact.1 -
Thank you. Do I need to tell them about his non fault motorbike claim (at this point I'm ready to remove him from my insurance altogether! 🙄).DullGreyGuy said:

You need to look at the wording of the specific questions you are being asked. But if it asks if you or any named driver has made a claim in the last number of years, then I would expect that to be declarable. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Thanks. He's just told me he didn't make a claim on his insurance for motorbike, it was on the other persons. So that's a relief!elsien said:You need to look at the wording of the specific questions you are being asked. Thats technically still a claim even if it was against someone else's policy.GreenLightRedLight said:

You would need to tell them about it, in principle it's more likely to make a bigger difference than a Glass claim.GreenLightRedLight said:

Even though it was a separate vehicle (his motorbike). I just want to be 100% sure that I state everything that I should. I've not been in this situation before in all my years of driving.GrumpyDil said:

- my glass chip
- his windscreen replacement on a separate car not on my policy
- his non fault accident on a motorbike that was claimed on another's policy.
He is hiking up my policy by £100s. Annoying, considering he only drives it once a week if that.0
