Out Fox The Market
Would anyone care to share their opinions as to how they have got on with this firm. On the cheap energy club comparison, this is by far the cheapest for me. I think I am going to sign up to their fixed rate tariff. Just wondered if there was something I don't know about them that would put me off.

My only issue so far is that I have had to email them info about meter readings and a query and had no response after nearly a month. As much as I disliked Eon next for other reasons they were excellent in prompt responses to any emails.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. We have been with Outfox the Market for a few years now and have had no problems at all with them. Easy to understand monthly billing and brilliant customer service. Whenever we have contacted them we have had a response usually on the same day.
We have switched tariff a few times in the last couple of months because they have brought out slightly cheaper deals and have not had a problem any time.1 -
I switched to them at the start of the month and, so far, all has gone well. They have an app for meter readings, statements, payments etc which is all up to date. I've not needed to contact them.1

Thanks for all the comments, I'm going to move to them2

Im of the opinion that all energy companies can be as bad as each other from a customer service perspective, but some suppliers have a higher percentage of good reps. Its just pot luck on who you get handling your query.
Given that, I let my wallet drive my decision on who to go with.1 -
I was with OFTM for a few years and no gripes. Before the current price cap from 1st April they actually charged half the gas daily standing charge for 2 quarters (from 1 Oct 2023), but it was back to the full standing charge from 1st April. In late March I moved to Octopus for the referral bonus and Tracker tariff, which also means a daily saving of 11.4p in combined standing charges compared to the OFTM standard tariff.1
