If it came up in my research i would have included it.Also, i was using Trading 212 as platform.I went with FWRG after all!0

HMWO distributes dividends in its base currency, USD (this seems to be the case for all world equity ETFs - interested to hear if someone knows of a world ETF that distributes in GBP without incurring any FX charges).Aidanmc said:artyboy said:Out of curiosity OP, why did HMWO not make your shortlist?I am just wondering about that! From a quick look again, HMWO is a distributing etf and i was preferring an Accumulation one.I'm not sure if there is a accumulation version of that one. The problem with distributing world equity ETFs like HMWO is that you incur FX exchange fees whenever you receive a dividend. Best to stick with an accumulation version."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

VWRL (also IWRD but that's pricey)george4064 said:

I'm not sure there is likely to be a great deal of difference between different global trackers - but then I'm no expert.
Anyway - my weapon of choice is VWRP. The accumulating version of VWRL.0 -
Agree completely, over a reasnable time period any difference between broad global trackers should be little more than noise rather than life-changng.Nebulous2 said:InvesterJones said:

My ex held HMWO in her Fidelity SIPP and when I asked via secure message why there were no FX fees showing on her (or my VEVE) account statements I was told that they were being paid in GBP at source so the platform was not applying conversion fees.george4064 said:

I looked at a similar scenario and went mostly with the vanguard dev world acc from your list as vanguard is the platform I use. My non vanguard platform is II so I went with hsbc all world with that cash0

FWRG ETF’s AuM continues to increase, now at $383m (10 July).george4064 said:FWRG's AuM increased from about $92mln on 31 January to about $163mln on 31 March.
The ETF was up about 8% during that period, so vast majority of the increased AuM is down to more people buying it."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
