Scottish Power SEG Export advice please

Hi everyone,
I had Solar Panels and Battery Storage installed a year ago through an independant Solar install company. Due to all the hassles I have had with it since, it's been my biggest regret and a pain in the rear.
Five months ago I transferred our services from Scottish Power to Octopus.
A couple of month's ago, it came to light that my Export is still with Scottish Power, dispite still never receiving a payment for this. Octopus told me that the Export cannot be transferred over as it is listed as a business.
Today I received this from Scottish Power after enquiring as to why....
'Your Import MPAN number is registered as Domestic. The Export MPAN has the Profile Class 08, which would indicate the MPAN being Industrial. This is how all our Export MPANs are registered.'
All correspondence with SEG at Scottish Power is via email and takes anything from 10 - 28 days for an acknowlegdement which is delaying things even longer than it should. I cannot speak to anyone on the telephone.
I am at my wits end on how to transfer my service, any advice would be very much appreciated.
many thanks!

I would speak to your DNO in the first instance and also raise a complaint with Scottish Power. You should be able to get the export MPAN changed or, worst case, have a new smart meter installed and a new export MPAN generated. Talk to the DNO about the options.1

Sorry to revive an old thread but I've just had exactly the same issue when transferring SEG exports to Octopus from So Energy and what I've learned may help others.
Although an 08 profile class on the MPAN shows as commercial it is also applied to domestic exports that aren't set up to have half-hourly reporting.
It seems someone at Octopus doesn't understand this.0
