Smart meter stuck on GMT

I have just noticed today that my smart meter is on GMT, so it thinks 3pm is 2pm.
British gas have peak save Sunday 11-4, but with this in mind should I be using it 12-5 for the saving?

Corrected - but question still stands.marcia_ said:British gas peak save is 11 till 41 -
Very few traditional meters - including many smart switch fully to DST for TOU register tariffs.
Tge IHDs normally will for display so my night off peak shifts to 1am not 12 midnight etc- but it stays 12 midnight gmt in meter itself afaik.
But not sure about 1/2 hourly blocks and then how if any comp BG themselves would apply.
I know in some threads here people suggest some of the apps lmay present the data differently though.
Have you asked BG direct - can you see the 1/2 hr data they use ?1 -
Smart meters don't change from UTC/GMT. The supplier makes an adjustment by creating/removing an hour on the appropriate date.2

My Scottish Gas IHD changes from GMT to BST to GMT2

Thanks, it's been throwing off my usage chart because I didn't know we were an hour out on all the graphs on BGs usage page.Netexporter said:Smart meters don't change from UTC/GMT. The supplier makes an adjustment by creating/removing an hour on the appropriate date.
Now I know I can get a better idea of what's using what.1 -
Sorry, I wouldn't take that as gospel. Having checked my meter again it is now showing "clock time". It was true about my supplier putting in an additional hour, though, because my bill shows every half hour.housebuyer143 said:

The ihd is not the meter.JohnSwift10 said:My Scottish Gas IHD changes from GMT to BST to GMT
As in my above post the ihd changes, the meter timing generalky does not for things like TOU tariff switching and alcs on e7 etc (in theory iirc there are some parameters in the original uk govt smets specs which could however change the gmt/ dst behaviour).

Yes, it may well do. The meter itself doesn’t though, that’s what people are explaining.JohnSwift10 said:My Scottish Gas IHD changes from GMT to BST to GMT🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
