DREAM TEAM'S Euros fantasy game is live!
There's still time for a few twists and turns as the regular season draws to a close but with Euro 2024 set to get underway on June 14th, you should have one eye on Germany already.
Our fantastic Euros fantasy game is available to play for free via Dream Team's app (you may have to update via the iOS or Android store) or website with a total prize pot of £50,000 up for grabs.
The overall winner will take home half the pot while the runner-up will bank £5,000 - gaffers who finish 3rd to 22nd will earn £1,000 each!
You will initially be asked to select an XI of Euro 2024 players on a budget of £50million with a choice of seven possible formations.
Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane are the joint-most expensive players in the game at £7.5m each and so gaffers keen on the prolific duo will have to seek out affordable bargains elsewhere to balance the books.
There's no limit on the number of players you can select from any one club so feel free to fill your boots with England stars if you think it's coming home this summer.
At this stage, we've populated the player list with core players from all 24 nations present at the tournament but more players will be added as the squads are officially announced in the coming weeks.
Dream Team's Euros fantasy game is divided into seven scoring periods known as Matchdays.
For example, the deadline for Matchday 1 is 7pm on June 14th, one hour before Germany take on Scotland in the curtain raiser.
It's imperative you settle on your team before that time because any changes made after the deadline won't come into effect until Matchday 2.
Once the tournament is underway, make sure you adhere to the Matchday deadlines when making transfers, playing Boosters and selecting your captain.
The good news is that you can make unlimited changes to your XI before the first deadline so feel free to dive in head first now - there's no harm playing around with a few early drafts this month.
Here's a breakdown of the transfer allowance for the whole tournament:
You will also need to select a captain (who will have their score doubled) each Matchday and a vice-captain who will fulfil the role if your first-choice captain doesn't play for any reason.
Additionally, you will have a supply of three Boosters that can only be played once each throughout the tournament.
Each Booster applies a special effect for the duration of one Matchday only that will result in plentiful points if deployed correctly.
POINTS BREAKDOWN
All Players:
However, players will lose performance marks for offsides, fouls conceded and errors that lead to goals.
For example, if by the end of England's first group game against Serbia, Jude Bellingham has registered an assist (+3 pts), two big chances created (+2 pts), two shots on target (+2 pts), a bonus point (+1 pt) and a yellow card (-1 pt) from 87 minutes (+2 pts) he'll score nine points in Matchday 1.
The £50,000 prize pot offers plenty of incentive but we also encourage you to battle it out for bragging rights among your mates (colleagues, family members, etc) in Mini Leagues - so spread the word!
As well as our Euros fantasy game, we invite you to play take on our Bracket Challenge, where you have to predict how things will play out in Germany this summer - the top prize is an iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB (or cash equivalent)!
And keep your eyes peeled for other fun games as the tournament draws near.
See the full Game Rules for more information on scoring, transfers, Matchdays and every element of the game.
