I guess its no surprise but just had a letter from CBS, stating that from the 01Jan08, rate is going down from 6.35% to 6.10%

Interestingly their website still advertises the 6.35% rate. I don't think they should be allowed to get away with that. Any ideas what I should do about it?
I've had my account open about a week, so I've well got the hump. Who should I call? The FSA? The ASA? Batman?
I'm not surprised there was a drop. But coming so soon! Very cheeky. I think it might be that they decided on this drop before my account was opened and failed to tell me.

Well, considering the base rate was cut at the beginning of the month, this rate cut could have come even sooner. In CBS's defence, I'm sure there will be others who drop their rate at the same time without any advanced warning to their customers and probably without warning them personally at all.inertiamink wrote: »I'm not surprised there was a drop.
