Not sure if this post is in the correct place so please move it if it's in the wrong section.
Unfortunately my mums pension details has been part of the capita cyber attack that happened a year or 2 ago and whilst she has been given free access to the premium Experian service I was wondering if there could be a possible compensation claim?
I did do a quick search online and there seems to be alot of possible no win no fee companies available but not sure what to do for the best as i have heard of people using these companies, it back fires and they are left with hefty bills so wouldn't want the same for my mum.
Any help or advice either way would be appreciated
Kind regards Mark
Instead of winding her up to make a claim, she'd benefit far more from some soothing and reassuring noises. There is no evidence as yet of any data being misused. If that ever happens, then it's a different matter.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -

The problem with compensation is that it often makes people even more concerned, on the basis that '...if they paid me compensation it means there's something to be really worried about....'.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
