Making a partial refund for combined postage

Options
Hope someone can help. I sold a couple of items to the same person; in my description I said that I'd be happy to combine postage, and the buyer messaged me to ask me to do so. However he then paid before I had a chance to send an invoice, meaning he'd paid both sets of postage. The items have now arrived and I'd like to refund him the extra, but I can't see how to do that through ebay. Any ideas? Or should I just ask for his paypal address so I can do it directly. It's only £3 but I feel I should make the effort having promised to!

On drop down menu of the orders press refund then deduct the P&P for one using drop section refund postal costs. Ideally once they have bought it do a refund before sending off and add a note that it's a combined order and partial refund off postage. Another issue can be how they bought them separately or added to a basket firstly because that is separate orders and INR would require tracking so that's why you add a note and state combined orders and repeat same tracking on both.

So it's LEAVE FEEDBACK next to it is a drop down menu scroll to the bottom SEND REFUND.

    Amount £**.**

Reason Drop Down Menu (Postage cost)

    Confirm Submit

Hold Tight while we process your refund

Then email stating it's been completed.

    That's it done.

Thanks! Yes, it's pretty similar on the web version and seems to have worked ok. It even gives you back the fee payable on the amount refunded automatically.

    The help is much appreciated!
