Where is best to download music??

I'm after a couple of tracks for my creative zen mp3 player. Where is best to download songs legally. I only want a couple of tracks not whole albums. Thanks in advance.

Its probably not the most popular site but i use HMV as i have an account with them already. Never had any problems with them and most of the single tracks are 79p

I probably should have added that they might be viewed as a bit obscure.

Well it's all relative I suppose, bit of Gallows, Malcolm Middleton, We Are Scientists. Indie/punk mostly.

  • i take it you've tried their websites/myspace pages? that would be my first port of call. also, try websites of the record companies they're signed to.

and, while it will mostly throw up illegal dl links, if the stuff you're looking for is really obscure, you could give shareminer.com a try as it sometimes leads you back to legal sites (eventually).

  • Try mp3fiesta.com.

I've used them a bit, good choice, very cheap.
  • Artists you've mentioned are also available on Napster which will work with certain models of Creative Zen - you'll need to check their site.
