Wifi File/Printer sharing - Confused!!!!

Can anyone give a step-by-step guide on how to connect a PC and Laptop to File/Printer share, i have read other posts but none have a definitive answer.
Both use XP - one home, one pro.
Both use the same WiFi router.
Both have Norton AV.
There are 2 printers connected to the PC that need sharing - both USB.

Norton is crap and will prob get in the way.
Google file and printer sharing there will be a 1000+ guides
With home & pro editions you will have problems getting the 'network neighhood' to find the other computer. Make sure both PC's are on the same workgroup eg MSHOME or WORKGROUP not different ones.
Right click on the printer icons on the 'server' computer and select share, on the client computer, go to Start then Run and type in the IP address of the server prefixed with two slashes eg
\\192.168.1.2
and the printers on the shared computer should appear.0
