Upside down live images from Banking Apps on tablets. Why?

I was wondering whether anyone had any thoughts on why on at least some android tablets and ipads the live images shown via a Banking App would appear upside down, whilst other apps would show the live images the right way around.
I tried this on my tablet and my partner's almost brand new Google Pixel tablet using both the Lloyds and Natwest apps and it's very disorienting trying to get the image into the middle e.g. moving the tablet to the left makes the image go to the right, moving it down makes the image go up, etc.
I originally posted this on https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6528125/is-a-cheque-always-upside-down-when-you-deposit-it-using-an-android-tablet/ and a couple of ipad users have so far also reported similar issues, so thought that maybe someone here may have some ideas on what may be going on and how I could get the live images the right way around without simply turning the cheque upside down (as that doesn't get rid of the disorienting effect of tablet movement not correspondng to what is happening to the image).
Many thanks.

It happened to me once or twice when paying in cheques on the Lloyds app - simply logged out and back in and it worked fine!

Not so lucky for me, I've been logged in and out multiple times and it's always there. :(

A bit of good news as I've found that the Santander App will show the cheque the right way up and moving the tablet moves the image as I would expect, so I'll just use that the next time a cheque turns up that needs paying in. Unfortunately the Natwest and Lloyds apps still show images the wrong way round and still give the disorienting effect but I can ignore that now.
