My latest 6 month review of energy use has gone from being £230 in credit to £1200 in debit when at the same time they have recently dropped my DD by £75!..the bill is re estimated back to Nov 2022 and appears to be using the smart meter readings and ones i have given them at review times and make no sense what so ever with online and new App usages differing , the online chat cannot help as just following scripts and have raised a complaint 2 months ago again no response so next will be the ombudsmen..there's now a info note online :::::
Your recent or upcoming bill may look a little different from usual
It may cover a longer period and show a credit for any payments you’ve already made on previous bills.Additional credit balance from your payments might appear on your account ahead of the bill but you can be confident your account balance shown will be accurate once the bill is ready.

First things first, can you share the meter readings used for BG's billing, and whether they are actuals or estimates.
Copies of your bill (with redacted personal details) would work best.
Do you know if you were recently switchd from BGs own billing system to their new one? Are any of the readings "out of sync" or are there any anomalous readings being used to calculate your bill?0
