I see VM are offering a 27 month 0% balance transfer which would be very helpful. However, the card I'd want to transfer from is Nationwide and I wonder whether this might count as a transfer within the same group as Nationwide are attempting to take over VM.
I don't know how far the takeover process has got.

Nationwide made an offer to buy Virgin which is with shareholders for consideration. They are 2 independent groups until the merger is agreed and approved and even then it is likely to be some time before they would be able to bring any sort of rules in on inter-group BTs, you are perfectly safe to do this now.Grandad2b said:I see VM are offering a 27 month 0% balance transfer which would be very helpful. People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
