Would a leak on the water supply pipe be heard on all pipework including CH pipes? I understand that noise could travel even with internal SC turned off. I can't turn external one off in kerb as it's old. What are your thoughts oh wise one?😁I am sooo going to change my usernameMy thoughts are - you are going to have to get someone in to have a listen. Anybody - neighbour, friend, family, the postfellow.Almost certainly someone will know what the noise is.If it's a continued leak, then it could be causing damage to your house. It is bizarre that it's still making a noise when the internal s/c is shut off - could we have a pic of this, please? The switch you've shown under the programmer does appear to be the boiler system power switch, so it's good that's def off - the boiler is 'dead', yes?Are you currently without water?!

There may be some isolation valves underneath the boiler where the pipes disappear up inside. Will be a sod to get to if you have mobility problems, and most certainly a spanner will be required.
Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -

I just cannot guess what the noise is, I'm afraid.
With your mains stopcock turned off, it cannot be water - unless there's still a 'live' pipe somewhere.
If you've turned off the switch supply to the boiler, then it can't be anything to do with the CH system - again, unless it's been wired incorrectly.
We'd need to hear this noise to be able to guess. Upload a clip to somewhere like YouTube?0 -
Years ago we had a leak in the road. I could hear it loudly in my house - no one else noticed it (I work from home and it tends to be quiet in the house, and also had no carpet in the bedroom so the sound travelled into the bed frame at night! The assumption initially was that the leak was in my house, but it wasn’t. So they dug up my garden. Not there… after digging up the road and several gardens they found it about 500 yards away round the corner in someone else’s garden. So yes, the noise travels - whether you hear it depends on how sensitive you are to noise, and once you’ve heard it you start listening for it.
it might be worth asking your neighbours whether they’ve heard anything if several of you report it at once it may get a more sensible reaction from your supplier.2 -
