No Credit Card on MSE Credit Club

Options
Hello,
I have just looked at my credit info on the new MSE credit club website. It states that I have no active credit cards. It shows I need to "Start demonstrating responsible credit use".

I have had a credit card for ages, which is used regularly and paid off each month.

Can anyone advise how I can get this credit card information added.

Thanks

I understand that MSE credit club only looks at your Transunion report.  It sounds like your credit card does not send data to Transunion.
The bigger credit reference agencies are Experian and Equifax.  Each lender will check some credit agencies when deciding whether to lend.  The lender will also report data to some agencies.  The agencies checked by the lender might not be the same a the agencies who the lender reports data to.

How old is the card? I've previously read on here that sometimes if they were opened before data was really shared to credit reference agencies, that may not have been covered in the terms and therefore would require you to open a new card if you want your activity reported, or contact the provider and ask them to provide the information (though they may not do so). Not 100% sure though.

My Barclaycard Visa, dating back to 1988, has never appeared on any of the three. It's not an issue for me

My oldest card is from around 2000 and is on my credit report, all my cards report to all the agencies so as above, either very old card or smaller company not reporting to all

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I've had the card (HSBC) since before the dawn of time so that could be a likely cause :-(
Can't get another credit card to "Start demonstrating responsible credit use" as my credit card that does demonstrate "responsible credit use" and would improve my credit rating is not see by the credit agencies. So I don't know what to do.

If you mean to improve your credit score then ignore that as it is just a gimmick to sell you new products they get commission on like getting people to take new credit cards.

One of my credit cards has never shown up in any of the CRA reports.
