  • Hello, I received this letter from the court and I am a bit confused on what they are expecting of me going forward and where I have went wrong. Please may you have a read and help me out. I used the template defence which I will attach down below.

My local court has been chosen. I was expecting to get a date but they have come back with this. I’m not sure if this is them wanting another edited defence or not.

I did say on another thread how bad Brighton court are!

    OK back to basics:

    Which PPC?

    Which solicitor?

Show us the Claim Form Particulars (redacted)

Did you ever appeal to POPLA?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello, thanks for getting back to me.

The PPC is UKPC and the solicitor is DCB legal.

I did not file an appeal with POPLA.

I will follow up with claim form particulars asap, just need to find the letter.

This seems to be a continuation of an existing thread which you should be posting on:-

It seems to me that the court have read my defence and believe it doesn’t challenge the PCN itself. I don’t really understand why, but I am under the assumption they want a new defence type document that details the ‘particulars of why he challenges the PCN’.

I’m not entirely sure whether to format this like my defence document or what tone and language it should use.

And have you got an email reciept?

To me it looks like they have not had it - maybe worthwhile checking with the court.
