Ticketmaster Event Ticket Refund - Change of Support Act

I bought 2 tickets for the Eagles at Manchester on the 4th June 24. The concert included a support by Stelly Dan, one of my favourite bands. I have received an email from Ticketmaster saying Steely Dan will not be appearing and now it will be The Doobie Brothers, On the basis of not being able to see the advertised acts I have asked for a refund but Ticketmaster say they only refund if the "Event" is cancelled. Does this mean Ticketmaster can change anything they like as long as the event takes place. I also took their event insurance which is equally unsupportive.
I would appreciate any advice

Oh please - not again (though to be fair if you're not the previous poster that thread went downhill fast and disappeared without trace)
Consensus to that one was there's little evidence to support your case for a refund - but if you feel lucky then take it to court and let us know how you get on0 -
What do the terms and conditions that you agreed to say?
I would imagine the headliner, venue and date is what you are buying into and who the support act is isn't guaranteed. Similar to if you go to the theatre to see, for example, Wicked you are only guaranteed to see that production not if Alexia or her understudy/backup Laura is playing Elphaba on a given night.
TicketMaster dont organise the event so they are not changing anything, just passing on the message of what has been changed by others.
I feel your pain though, have been to gigs for the support acts rather than the main act too, thankfully mainly £10 type tickets where the financial pain isn't so bad.1 -
Deja Vu, I'm amazed that all these Steely Dan superfans don't keep up with the bands websites or news.0
