File Over WiFi

Is it possibly to force a notepad file onto a remote PC over WiFi, using their internal IP.

Thanks.

depends if the firewall is on, but assuming it is configured to allow it, then you could just type their IP into explorer, eg, \\192.168.10.2
You would, of course, need to be on the same IP range and subnet.

Not sure what you are asking. If you wanted a message to popup on the remote computer you can use the 'NET SEND' command in windows.

Load command prompt (Start, Run, then type CMD) then type NET SEND for the syntax, but basically its NET SEND IP MESSAGE.
    e.g.
NET SEND 192.168.0.2 Turn that damn music down now!!!

Most internal networks this will work, but it will be filtered by firewalls for remote computers.
