How can HMRC Personal Tax Summary be so Useless.

Please can some of you confirm whether or not the Uselessness of the Personal Tax Account HMRC website is a widespread thing or if something is drastically wrong with my particular NI Number.
Here are a couple of my issues:
1. Reporting/Tracking form progress.
I submitted a P55 tax reclaim 3+ weeks ago. If I look in the Check progress section it does not show this form at all, it just shows last years P55 as complete. I have had a confirmation via e-mail that the form was submitted. According to the website it should be online within a few hours?
2. Accuracy of Previous years tax summaries.
Since I started taking UFPLSs four years ago the yearly tax summaries take no account of P55 refunds that have been made. So for example the 22-23 Summary shows £16900 taxable income with £5800 tax paid. In reality a good chunk of the £5800 was repaid and I paid around £800.
Im sure this has got worse. I recall previous years at least having some tracking info available.
Are the above issues widespread?
Ive put this in the Pension sections as the issues above seem specific to pension payments.

Hello, I submitted P55 on 14/04. After 24 hrs it was displayed as received and after 7days it changed to in progress. Currently still in progress and I fully expect it do be dealt with at some stage soon. No problem for me, I realise this is a busy time of year and patience is a virtue.1

The Personal Tax Account will (should) show details of your PAYE earnings or pension income. The tax deducted was £5,800, the fact that £5,000 was refunded by HMRC is a separate matter, the pension company still deducted £5,800 in the first place.

Update to my previous post : funds credited to bank account today. Online progress status has now changed to completed. System is working well on my account, and payment sooner than expected.0
