As the official Banking Partner of Wimbledon, we’re giving Barclays and Barclays Premier customers the chance to win a pair of tickets to The Championships, Wimbledon this summer. Prize draw closes at 11:59pm GMT on 20 May 2024 – enter now to make sure you don’t miss out.

Things you need to know

• This prize draw is for Barclays customers who are aged over 18.
• You’ll need to be a Barclays or Barclays Premier customer and be based in the UK (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man).
• You can enter more than once but can only win tickets once during the prize draw period - you can’t resell the tickets.
• You can only win one Wimbledon experience.
• Travel and accommodation aren’t included.
• All Wimbledon events are correct at the time of publishing. If any events are rescheduled, the tickets will be valid for the new date.
• Additional personal data may be required in order to secure tickets with Wimbledon.
• Your data will be shared with Wimbledon once tickets have been allocated. Your data will not be used for any marketing promotion but purely to secure the tickets.

Barclays and Barclays Premier Customer Wimbledon Ticket Prize Draw

This document sets out the rules for this prize draw. Make sure you read them carefully and understand them all before you enter the draw.

Introduction

Barclays is running a promotion (the “Prize Draw”), between 7th May and 20th May (the “Promotional Period”) that gives you a chance to win selected Wimbledon tickets.

The promotion provides Barclays and Barclays Premier customers the opportunity to win:

• 28 x pairs of ground pass tickets for Barclays customers (2 x pairs per day for each day of the tournament).

• 14 x pairs of show court tickets for Barclays Premier customers (mix of no.1 court and centre court) for the first 12 days of the tournament

By entering, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Rules

1. “Barclays”, the "Promoter" “we”, “us” and “ours” means Barclays Bank UK PLC of 1 Churchill Place, London E14 5HP

2. Barclays Employee” for the purposes of this Prize Draw means a full time or part time employee on a permanent or fixed term contract, or anyone undertaking an internship, sub-contracting role, or work placement with one of the following entities or their direct suppliers at the time of the draw:

1. Clydesdale Financial Services Limited
2. Barclays Bank UK PLC
3. Barclays Bank PLC
4. Barclays Execution Services Limited

3. “Barclays Customer” means customers who have a personal current account with Barclay and have access to Barclays app. For the purposes of this promotion only, this definition includes Barclays Employees (as defined above) who have a personal current account with Barclays.

Who may enter?

4.The Prize Draw is open to United Kingdom residents, aged 18 or over at the time of entry only, who meet the criteria set out in Clause 8 of these terms and conditions.

5. You are not eligible for the Prize Draw if you are materially connected to the administration of the Prize Draw.

Entry

6. Entry into the Prize Draw is free.

You can enter the Prize Draw from 16:00 BST on 7th May 2024 until 23:59 BST on 20th May 2024 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries made after this time will not be valid, even if they appear to be registered.

8. To be entered into the Prize Draw you must:

• Select the account you hold (Barclays or Barclays Premier)

  and

• Complete the entry form.

You may enter more than once over the prize draw period, but you can only win one pair of tickets to either no.1 court or centre court tickets for Barclays Premier customers or one pair of Grounds Pass tickets for Barclays customers.

9. Lost, delayed, undelivered, incomplete, entries made via third parties, or multiple entries will not be entered into the Prize Draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries which are not completed for any reason.

10. Entries with obscenities, of a defamatory nature, include any personal details (e.g. address or bank details), or infringe any third party rights will be excluded from the Prize Draw.

The Prize

11. There will be 14 winners for Barclays Premier customers and 28 winners for Barclays customers. The following are collectively defined as the “Prize”. The winner will receive one of the following selected at random based on whether they select ‘Barclays’ or ‘Barclays Premier’ in the entry form:

• 1 pair of No.1 Court or Centre Court tickets at Wimbledon (for Barclays Premier customers).

• 1 pair of Grounds Pass tickets at Wimbledon (for Barclays customers).

Tickets for each team will be drawn as detailed in section 18.

12. The Prize has no cash equivalent and no alternatives to the Prize will be offered. The Prize and participation in the Prize Draw cannot be exchanged or transferred, and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. However, in the event that the Prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value.

13. The Prize can be arranged for collection at Wimbledon.

14. All tickets will be available for collection at the event – the ticketing team will advise. All tickets will be subject to the additional terms and conditions as stipulated by Wimbledon and to be communicated to winners ahead of ticket redemption.

15. Barclays is not liable for delayed or non-delivery of the Prize for any reason beyond its control, including but not limited to loss or theft in transit or any failure by you to accept delivery of and or collect your Prize for any reason.

16. The Prize Draw winner(s) are responsible for their own expenses, incurred in connection with the Prize including travel to and from the match.

17. The Promoter shall not be liable or responsible in case a winner should fail to use the Prize, for any reason whatsoever.

Selecting the Winner(s)

18. The winner (s) will be drawn at random by third party, PromoVeritas at 16:00 BST Tuesday 21st May 2024 based on the following:

1. Winners will be selected based on the entrants.

2. The number of prizes available for Barclays and Barclays Premier customers are detailed in the prize details table at the bottom of these terms.

3. Once both prizes have been awarded no other tickets will be awarded.

4. Only those entrants that select their correct account details on their entry form will be entered in to the draw for tickets.

19. Barclays will notify the winner(s) via email by 23:59 BST Monday 17th June 2024. The delay, due to the potential for a new winner be drawn, should a winner need to be replaced as detailed in clause 20.

20. The Promoter can replace any entrant selected as the winner if:

1. The entrant does not respond to the notification within fourty-eight (48) hours after it has been sent by providing any additional details required for provision of the prize and/or;

2. We reasonably believe that the entrant has broken one of these rules.

Should any winner be replaced, an additional winner will be drawn at random following the same process.

21. With the exception of any winner who has requested a suppression of their details under applicable data protection laws, the name and county of the winner(s) will be made available to anyone sending an email entitled Wimbledon App prize draw winner disclosure’ to the following email address buksponsorships@barclays.com within twenty-eight (28) days of the published closing date.

22. Winners of this promotion can request for a suppression of any disclosure of their details subject to any requirements to share promotion prize winner’s information with relevant regulators or to fulfil a legal requirement. All winners will be offered this right at the point of the winning notification detailed in Clause 19.

23. The Promoter’s selection of the winner(s) is final. No other correspondence will be entered into.

Personal Information 

24. Barclays will only collect, store and use your personal information, such as name, age and basic contact details including email address, for the purposes of entering you into, administering, and promoting the Prize Draw as set out in these rules, and not for any other purpose without your consent. This will not affect any existing marketing preferences that you have registered with Barclays. In order to attend the Championships, Wimbledon are currently asking us to provide a first name and surname of each guest attending. As such, please note that if you win, we will need to collect the names of all attendees to the game to provide to Wimbledon. You should ensure that you have the consent of any individual before you provide us with their personal information and have provided them with this privacy information.

25. By entering the Prize Draw, you consent that your personal information may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) to store and use as necessary to administer the Prize Draw. Barclays will ensure that any third parties processing or storing your personal information for the Prize Draw, shall comply with the same data protection requirements as Barclays and this personal data will only be processed for the purposes of administering this Prize Draw. The winner(s) of the Prize Draw consents that their personal information may be transferred to our service providers and agents (including their sub-contractors) to store and use as necessary to publicise the Prize Draw. If required, the winner(s) of the Prize Draw consent to their personal address being transferred to a courier company/postal service for the purpose of delivering the Prize. We will never pass your information to any third party for them to use in their own direct marketing, without your consent. We will only share the information of winners guests with the Club.

26. Personal information for all entrants and attendees will be held on record for as short a period of time as necessary to administer the Promotion and then securely destroyed. Personal information of the winner(s) will be held on file for a period of up to one year to satisfy regulatory reporting requirements on prize giving activities in different jurisdictions.

27. If you wish to opt-out of the Prize Draw please email the following address buksponsorships@barclays.com stating your request to opt out. If you wish to stop your personal data being used in this way in future, or enact your rights under applicable privacy law, please ‘object to data processing’ in line with our privacy policy (Opens in a new window). Please be aware that by opting out of your data being used you will be removing yourself from the Prize Draw.

Liability

28. It is the responsibility of the entrant to judge their fitness in relation to any medical condition(s) which could impact their safe participation in and or use of the Prize.To the extent permitted by law, Barclays will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered in connection with

the Prize Draw (including any damage to your or any other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading or accessing any materials), or any delays or failure (in whole or in part) to perform any of its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control.

29. The Prize Draw is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Wimbledon. You agree to release Wimbledon from any liability associated with the Prize Draws.

30. This Prize Draw is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the third parties referenced in these terms and associated marketing, products or retailers featured in the prizes. Trademarks, logos and names of the third parties, products and retailers are the property of their respective owners.

31. To the extent that the Prize is viewed by HM Revenue & Customs as a taxable benefit-in-kind, Barclays will pay the full UK tax and social security liability arising on the associated benefit-in-kind on behalf of the winner(s). This will not affect the winning participants’ personal tax positions.

General

32. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter may choose to withdraw or amend the Prize Draw at any time.

33. By submitting an entry, you warrant that all information submitted as part of the entry is true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries.

34. These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising in respect of this Prize Draw.
