Referral Codes
Despite all the bad press they get on the forum I am having no problems with EDF. Accurate bills are produced whenever I submit a reading & my variable DD is taken when due. I recently noticed EDF are now offering referral codes worth £50 to me & anyone I shared with & as a friend was planning to leave shambolic OVO I applied for a code. It was emailed to me within 36 hours. I will of course carefully hang on to that email & make a separate note of the code. But does anyone know if it gets added in somewhere to your online account? I cannot see it anywhere. As I am on Kraken system perhaps someone with Octopus who have had codes might know.

Thanks. Maybe EDF have just not updated my account page yet. Seems a very useful place to have it. I'll check again in a few days.0

I signed up to EDF SVR on Saturday as very low electricity user purely for £50 credit which I am hoping to double up on with a friend signup, £1 card payment made Saturday, referral credit added Sunday with personal link included within email sent Sunday.
Switch takes 6 calendar days inclusive compared with Octopus, Eon Next taking 3 calendar days
Phone number not freephone 0808 (above suppliers are)
EDF customer services only appear to operate by email and social media channels 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday compared with Octopus and Eon Next 8am 10pm 7 days a week.
Account dashboard bears very little (if any) resemblance to Octopus and Eon Next account dashboards.
First experience at trying to reduce monthly DD via online accountYou're paying £52.56 on the 26th of each month by Direct Debit
I tried to change DD amount to £31 which would reflect annual usage divided by 12 better, said needs to be higher than 42.05
when testing the above tried 43 44 45
We're sorry, but the Direct Debit you've suggested needs to be closer to your current amount.
