Looking for recommendations on customer service
Good afternoon,
I’ve been with So Energy for about 4 years, and they weren’t too bad until my Smart Meter went wrong. It took them 13 months to swop for a new one, and their customer service was shocking. I won’t go into detail but at times my energy account was dominating my life & I thought I was going mad!

Things are resolved now thank goodness, but I’m keen to switch to a better provider, even though it won’t save me money.
Can you recommend an energy company with good service please? I pay by direct debit, have smart meters, & would like access to either an app or a web based account.
No EVs or solar panels.
I've been considering Octopus or British Gas, but I know there are many out there.
