Hi everyone,
It's another lovely day, Laura just sent a photo of Esben meeting an owl, the look of wonder and delight on his face is brilliant, you only really get those expressions on the faces of small children.
I am taking a break through sorting through piles of bedding. I have made up two zipped bags with complete changes of bedding for Laura's and Esben's beds, hopefully it will stop the panicked rummaging through drawers in the early hours when one of the littlies is sick or wets the bed. I'm also looking at a pile of discoloured pillow cases, wondering if I can get them white again, any OS ideas?
Steve is sanding the drive after he jetwashed it the other week, hopefully it will be a while before the weeds start to emerge again. It's a messy business Chrisca, Steve got covered and there are still splashes on some of the windows and the bins which Steve always forgets to move and then forgets to clean them down afterwards.
I really want to do some sewing today so I'd better get on and finish the bedding sort.
Have a good day.

Morning all
Another beautiful day here before the rain arrives tomorrow and for the rest of the week 🙄 yesterday did not go to plan as I started to feel very rough again and spent most of the day in bed, I fear today will be the same I think I am on the mend but it’s a slow process. I did manage to water my plants and we had fish and chips for dinner which was nice and saves cooking, I think my taste might be coming back too although not fully able to taste.
OH has woken with a rash on his back which looks suspiciously like shingles to me 😳 we really are the house of poorly atm, he said it’s not painful atm but that may come.
Not sure about dinner there is a pizza and salad if we fancy it.
WL have a great time away xx
Have good days all and take care xx5 -
Morning All
Overcast and breezy this morning, nice and cool after the heat of yesterday. It was too hot to do much in the afternoon so I spent it on my lounger in the garden reading. Later I potted on some tomatoes but it was mighty hot in the greenhouse. We have the threat of thunder storms today so I'll do inside jobs.
I've been shopping, didn't need much but seemed to spend a lot anyway!
Enjoy Jersey WL, my Mum came from Jersey so we spent a lot of time there when we were young.
Don't do too much Nanny, hope your leg is better today.
Have a good trip away Gers.
Well done to those who have power washed the driveways, perhaps you could come and do mine?
Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX6 -

They used to boil discoloured linens with lemons and water and then peg them out in the sunshine.4
