Morning all, it was a very hot sticky night even though the windows were open and I had the desk fan going on my side of the bed. Today is to be a nice day again, but it's all change from midday tomorrow with thunder storms so I have the wm on with my thick dressing gown and a few odds from the washing basket dancing around.
We managed to mow the front lawn between us yesterday but half the back one is still jungle high and the strimmer remains unrepaired and in pieces on the shed workbench. I think it's time to buy a new one as it was one donated to us by Dad so we haven't spent out on it, except for the new wire. I finished weeding the patio and put down some weed killer too although it still surprises me that weeds can grow in the tiniest of cracks.
Bella hope you're ok as I haven't seen you post much lately.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday
Take care all, hope the poorly ones are getting better.
nan xx

Hi everyone,
I saw the lights. It was on my bucket list as well Chrisca so I can cross that off. They were quite faint to the naked eye but spectacular viewed through a phone camera.
The family went off to Center Parcs for the weekend yesterday. We ended up going in the afternoon to drop off their perishables because they didn't get access to their lodge until four and I was worried about them sitting in the car even in a cold bag. It's not as daft as it sounds, they went to the Woburn site which is only half an hour away.
Hopefully we'll be able to take advantage of the weather today, Ziggy will need a walk but probably this evening when it's cooler. I also want to wash our bedding and dry it on the line.
Glad you're feeling a bit better Ruby.10 -
Afternoon all, still lovely here. Football as usual , the boys won their cup match by a big margin ,but the ref blew early due to one of their boys headbutting one of ours
It was quite shocking to see in an under 10s game. Their coach said it must have been an accident...
Home for some lunch & have done some watering of pots at the back, not much else on the agenda now apart from a lazy afternoonthough I do have to take a dress up, not urgent though.
