So now the insurance industry is likely aware that you have had a loss. Remember that when you come to renewal.w00519773 said:I have spoken to the insurance company who tell me it is up to me whether or not I make a claim.
Quote just for you - patch repair on the bumper.w00519773 said:The first was £200 and the second was £2100. I was surprised by the difference, however when I raised this with the person who quoted £200 he said the price would be more like £2100 if I claim on my insurance. Does anyone know why that would be?
Quote for insurance - replacement of bumper from insurer's approved supplier, inspection of mountings/fixings, possible replacement/rehang of wing panel(s), safety & condition report....
The insurer doesn't want you to turn around in a few months time and find a bit of extra damage/mismatch that there then needs to be an argument about whether it was or was not the same incident/claim.0
