Chase app on multiple devices

I been wanting to use Chase as my primary current account, but the only thing stopping me was the info from Chase saying the app only works on one device.
"While you can install the app on another device, it's currently not possible to have more than one device registered to use Chase." Then it goes on to say "you need to install the app on your new device and once you are successfully logged in it will unregister your old one. When you launch the app you'll need to follow the new device login procedure, and upload your ID again"
But I've been using 2 devices for a couple of months without having to upload anything when switching between them, the only thing is the Biometric logon doesn't work for the first login, so i just use my password.
I'm not complaining, just interested to know if this is normal.

I had the same issue when I had 2 devices. I get that it is for security but most other banks that I know of have online banking as well and can have the app on multiple devices.0

Is it not a pin

Yes it’s a PIN, the point I was trying to get across is that it doesn’t ask me to upload any ID when switching between devices.0

I changed over phones last week and it wouldn't let me log in on new phone until I had uninstalled (not just logged out) on old phone.
However yes, I did notice that I didn't have to go thru the photo ID this time around.0 -
I changed phones last week, and did have to do the photos again. I didn't have to uninstall the app on old phone, but was told it would no longer work once new device was registered.
No idea why there seems to be different outcomes for other people.3
