Universal credit RTI dispute, how long will this take?

Hello,
I usually report my earnings each month before the payment date, last month I reported the correct earning based on my payslips, with dedication and all.
When I went to the payment page, the amount of benefit i was entitled to was £0 as the Earning Team reported that I received £17k from my employer. I opened a dispute just right after seen the error.
It's now been a month and they have not resolved yet, also I did not receive any benefits this month due to high earning from last month.
I checked my HMRC account and there is no sight of this payment.
They referred it as a fraud and the fraud team is now looking into it. It's been 3 weeks since they sent me this message and I have had no update at all.
Is this normal? How long will this take? Is there anything I can do to chase this apart from a message in my journal?
This seems ridiculous for me and I am really upset with the lack of service of UC staff.
Thanks.

Are you saying your employer has confirmed they reported your pay via RTI correctly but somehow UC see you as having received £17,000?

Presumably if they had made a genuine mistake then the op would have seen that information on their HMRC (Personal Tax) account and been able to get them to make a correction?
Hopefully the op will provide a bit more info about the supposed fraud. Reporting £17k of income in error would seem an odd thing for an employer to do as they would be liable for the tax and NI deductions.0 -
There was clearly some breakdown in the RTI feed since the start of your claim. For this reason, you had to report your pay manually each month until now.
It would seem that the issue with the RTI feed has now been sorted. However, UC are now taking into account all the wages reported by your employer for all those months when you self-reported. This is their standard practice when the RTI feed has a 'year-to-date' figure which is higher than the amount of earnings taken into account already via the RTI feed. (They don't set it off against self-reported earnings.)
If this is correct, then if you persevere with the 'RTI dispute', you should be fine eventually.
