Anyone managed to get this tariff showing on Cheap Energy Club. I contacted OVO and they could not find it!

Nope.  I noticed it on my Cheap Enery Club too.  No sign of it though.

It's now listed on the Cheap Energy Club site as "1 Year Fixed Go Smart 16 May 2024" rather than 25th April.   How is the MSE Cheap Energy comparison site finding these deals if they dont exist??

Im starting to feel this might be a scam to get people to go to the website. :o

I'm already with OVO and it showed on my monthly billing email as the cheapest energy tariff I could switch to remaining with OVO. I suspect it does exist, but maybe it changes name according to when you join up? If you go to the OVO website directly and search tariffs, does it show?

No, no sign of it, even if i go directly to their website and look for a quote.

Maybe it's existing customers only.  So not sure why it would show on the MSE Comparison Page

For anyone still interested in this thread, if you already have a smart meter you are not eligible for this tariff.

2.1 In order to be eligible to take up, and remain on, our 1 Year Fixed Go Smart plan you must meet and continue to meet each of the following criteria:

    a) Existing meter requirements

On the date that you apply to be supplied by us on the 1 Year Fixed Go Smart plan, you must take your supply through a traditional meter (not a smart meter or a pre-payment meter).

If you have any other meter type, you’ll not be eligible for this energy plan. You must have a smart meter installed within 90 days of coming on supply.

I already have a smart meter, so that explains why I was not offered it.

Perhaps consumers are correct to delay having a smart meter installed if they are being offered exclusive access to the most competitive tariffs.

they probably have targets to meet so a nice bribe to make people change to smart meters, probably makes sense in the boardroom...

They very much do - and most of those targets are being missed.
