That's correct, they can't contract out your rights by having terms that differ from the legislation and where they attempt to do so the specific terms that do not comply would be voidGervisLooper said:

They have agreed to refund now and sent me an rma code with return address after I sent a reply refining my position requesting a refund under right to cancel/14 day cool off period.
