Just had email from Moneybox with offer of £50 cashback if open a S&S ISA or GIA and deposit £500 by 31 May
As far as i understand its only people who receive email that qualify.
I think its because i opened a Moneybox Cash ISA during March,

Personally I would go on to their website - not using the link in the email - and ask them if it's legit.  It might be fine.  It might be a scam where you only get the £50 if you deposit the £500 by "this special link".

    I'm cynical.

Same here. In the app, they offer me a bribe of up to £800 if I transfer a SIPP. Not tempted as I don’t like their fees.

I’d also not open another cash ISA with them as the interest isn’t FSCS protected before account anniversary. I didn’t see this in the account information (probably my oversight)

    Maybe this reason?

Nobody else on here received an offer then? Very strange!
Initially i thought this was a good enough offer but i've been reading a lot of negative reviews about Moneybox, so will probably give the offer a miss.
  • No offer for me either.

Did open a cash ISA and have transferred some money into it, not without issues thanks to source bank blocking transfer and Moneybox Customer Service being non-existent. My deposits will also not be transferred by Moneybox to the clearing bank until Monday. (Think I knew that anyway. Been a Moneybox customer for 3 years or so now).

Won't be depositing any more there. Rest will go in my other Cash ISA, held elsewhere.
