PCN from UK Trip: Future Tourist Risks?

Hello, I would like to clarify something. During a recent trip to the United Kingdom, I received a PCN for a day when I rented a car and parked it at a market without realizing I needed to pay for parking.
A few weeks later, the car rental company charged an administrative fee to my credit card. However, they transferred the fine to my name. My question is, since I don't reside in the UK and the PCN is not a police fine but rather a charge from a private parking lot, what could happen if I don't pay? Could I encounter any issues if I were to return to the country as a tourist someday?

No issues. None at all. Zero.
But you MUST RESPOND (online appeal) so that the parking firm know you were the driver, to stop them asking the hire firm again.
If you don't, the Hire firm will just pay it (£100 or more) and charge you, if they get another letter. You need to stop that.
See the thread from someone in Oz today.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
