Formal letter of claim issued - What would be my next steps?

Hi,
I'm very confused at the moment and was wondering if someone could help. I just received an email from the solicitors representing the credit card company I owe £14,000+ that a formal letter of claim has been issued in the post. I lost my business earlier this year and earn nothing. I also have a 5 month old baby so I don't work and barely cover my bills as I'm on Universal Credit. There is literally no money anywhere to pay off the debt which I incurred while trying to save my business. What would be my next steps in this situation?
Thanks in advance.
