Morning all
Bright and sunny here looks to be a lovely day.
I still feel completely rotten 😩 and have now lost all smell and taste, I have been awake since 3 this morning just tossing and turning and coughing, I have had covid twice before and the second time I had no symptoms at all, this has hit me like a ton of bricks, all I can do is move from bed to sofa and keep my fluids up.
Hope everyone is well
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Morning all, I'm a late riser again but I'm finding it hard to get to sleep lately so I'm going to take off the higher tog duvet and change it for a lesser one, I'm just too hot at night. We'll probably get snow now !
I started culling the wardrobe and freed 2 T'shirts and 4 fleece tops so far, they can all go to the cs as they are all still in good condition. I had to stop though as I had a call from the hospital asking would I like a cancellation appointment for yesterday afternoon so I said yes. I was going today anyway but now the day is appointment free and lets me get on without interruption. I shall go back to the wardrobe cull as the things out yesterday hardly made a dent 🤔
I want to do a food cupboard and freezer check ready to do a shop too, I've noticed I'm low or out of a few things. Right enough procrastinating, I'm going back to Narnia.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones and "Hi" to the MIA's and those who just like to read along.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently8 -
Morning everyone or is it I don’t know where Today has gone been and done a cleaning job came back and brought the washing in all dried made two big pans of soup ready for the freezer when it cools down I’ve just paid a small fortune to the building supplies for my bathrooms that I have now got a date for fitting so by the end of June I will have two new bathrooms and be living off bread and water as much as I love my house it has cost me a bomb and I still have loads I want doing I may as well just had it rebuilt or that’s what it feels like . GERS that sounds exactly what I need to do with my nails I will admit they have been neglected SO I had forgotten about the jelly my grandma used to give us all a square each to help our nails I don’t know if it did or not . Nanny I am sleeping badly lately my mind won’t slow down and when I get to sleep I’m awake again in a couple of hour's I won’t sleep at all now you have said the snow word Brrrr . Ruby I hope you are feeling better soon that sounds rotten. Sorry I’ve forgotten half of what I’ve read today even going back over it’s not sinking in that’s what lack of sleep does I know we have a few poorly people hopefully you will all feel better soon . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing9

Afternoon all, I was missing yesterday, I seemed to have loads to do, then we picked DGS up from school ready to go to the match later. Bit of a late night for him but he stayed at ours so he had a bit of a lie in this morning. He did have an assembly for families but he said I didn't have to go as he only had 2 lines to say
As it happened we couldn't go as I had an order coming and it was too late to change. After that we had a drive to collect the tools DH had dropped off for repair and servicing.
Plenty in for tea now, I'll decide in a bit.Sorry you're poorly RR, hope you feel better soon.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)7
