    What are you actually trying to claim for? Have you had a refund?

    I'd be careful with a solicitor. They'll be happy to bill you for not really doing much and you could end up even further out of pocket. Your choice though.

    If OP gives a solicitor as much information as has been provided here, there's not much they can do. 

    I suspect there is no solicitor.
